Social Program Mixed Netball Team Women's Soccer Celebrating

The Australian University Games (AUG) is Australia’s largest annual multi sport event. Each year, AUG attracts over 6000 competitors, competing across 28 sports from universities Australia wide. The Games provide a friendly but competitive environment in which to compete and an action packed social program is conducted throughout the week to enhance the AUG experience for all of the competitors.

2010 Perth Games - register now!

The 2010 Games will be held in Perth, WA from 26 September to 1 October. Curtin is aiming to be represented by around 300 athletes, in each of the 28 sports available. Contact us now find out how you can be involved!

Various Australian University Championships (AUCs) will also be run throughout the country in 2010 for sports not catered for as part of the Uni Games. Visit the Uni Sport website for more information or contact us to register.

 

2009 Gold Coast Games

The 2009 Games were held at the Gold Coast from 27 September – 2 October and a record 150 Curtin students headed across to compete. Our Curtin representatives competed in 14 different sports, including Athletics, Basketball (men’s and women’s), Beach Volleyball, Cycling, Golf, Lawn Bowls, Netball (women’s and mixed), Rugby 7s, Soccer (women’s and men's), Swimming, Surfing, Taekwondo, Ten Pin Bowling and Touch Rugby.

Results

There was a fantastic team atmosphere among the Curtin athletes, with many making the effort to cheer their teammates on during the finals matches over the last two days of competition.
